Attending a
Workshop?
If you attend an SCE worksop, please know:
Nothing said in the workshops is confidential, so be aware that it can be used in litigation, any specifics about your situation should be held close to the vest until we know more about the program itself.
Workshops will be broken into smaller groups, so gather with neighbors afterwards to compare notes, as you won’t be able to hear everyone collectively.
before accepting
a payout
The SCE program only covers your primary structure - nothing else on your property.
SCE determines your pre and post-fire property value, per Square Foot. If there are any errors in their calculations, (even on your Square Footage), there is a 9-month revision period.
SCE has not announced when payouts will be issued.
Emotional damages are assessed at a flat amount of $100k per adult and $50k per child.
Settlements are assessed per household, including all members at once.
